WHEEL APPEAL
(A Very Short Story)
Tom and I met a couple of twins
Josephine and Alice;
He's a chap who always wins
(Said without any malice.)
But I was the man with a set of wheels,
So Tom became the spectator.
Despite his anger and appeals,
I shouted out 'See you later!'

Such words you found with no E's so cool....then words with lots of Eeeees!
ReplyDeleteI can't think of a more perfect response to Mrs. Jenny's prompt this week! Brava to you!!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these offerings. It really was quite challenging not to have any e's in the sentence. It's something we just take for granted. I truly got a good chuckle from the second. Poor old Tom.
ReplyDeleteVerse without the forbidden 'e'? A task well met. :)
ReplyDeleteNo E's and poetry?
ReplyDeleteGeez.
I am all kinds of impressed with this Entertaining little E-lEss work of art!
Awesome.
