Disillusion

MAGPIE TALES
DISILLUSION

"I know I told you on Saturday night
That we had a future that was really bright.
But then you were in that satin dress
And you looked a vision of loveliness.
I loved the way it swirled round your ankles.
But here's the thing that really rankles....
Now you've stripped off to your bra
And panties, I can see you are
So much sturdier than before,
When your pretty dress reached to the floor.
All my passion has evaporated.
It cannot be too firmly stated.
I somehow cannot take my eyes
Off those really enormous thighs!"

GREEN BUGGY

When the sun beats down and the legs are tired,
And there's pleasant scenery to be admired
What better seat can possibly be found
Than an old-fashioned buggy that's lying around?
Here's Malcolm, sitting at his ease
Enjoying a sweet, refreshing breeze.
And what better colour to complete the scene
Than a canopy of cooling green?

  2. Had to laugh, your Magpie sounds like the opposite to mine, Brenda.
But that buggy with the green sunshade is just the ticket today.

  7. It does give me a smile, but also it is so sad when people are judged by their appearance.

  8. Such a shame when illusions are spoilt!
    I like the buggy, though.

  9. Dear Brenda: Sensing the irreverence which is always such a hoot! "enormous thighs"
Wonders what her thoughts and actions would be after that blow to the ego. Chicks n' Giggles! That "green canopy" does have a cooling effect; I feel the breeze here in Canada! Thanks!:)

  13. Wasn't there some woman in a Bond movie who killed men by crushing them with her thighs?
