SKYWATCH FRIDAY
http://skyley.blogspot.com/
WHIMSY-WHALE!
Of course, it's only whimsy
And the basis is quite flimsy,
But I'm sure I saw a whale up in the sky!
*
See the picture down below
Which I've added here to show
Whales are good at swimming though they cannot fly!
*
Sighted off the NSW coast this Spring.
The Mother is called Migaloo.

They look like the perfect match to me! Whale in the sky! I love it! And your words as always! Have a great weekend, Brenda!

Love the wispy clouds!
ReplyDeleteYou DID see a whale up in the sky! No doubt!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture. It really looks like a whale. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteGreat comparisons. I love watching the clouds to see what formations are there.
ReplyDeleteThey are both up there - clearly they are having an
ReplyDeleteout of body experience!
Yes, definitely a whale, and complete with blow hole...amazing what wonderful formations in the clouds and what fun it is to search them for cloud pictures.
ReplyDeleteGreat link between the two shots.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
Both lovely shots Brenda. Thanks for sharing them with us.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing!
ReplyDeleteObserving the sky, being child-like in amazement, such a great gift!
Yup! It's a whale alright. One of my favourite pastimes as a kid, was trying to figure out what clouds looked like.
ReplyDeleteIt is always good to retain the child's natural gift of wonder! A fun post!
ReplyDeleteGreat observation and capture of the whale in the sky. The cloud formations sometimes change so fast that it was great you were able to get this photo. I love the rest of your post too, the poem and the photo of the sea whale.
ReplyDeleteI see your whale!
