Memetics Three

MEMETICS THREE

The final of my memetic cheat.
Week Three will make it all complete.
After my Dancing Dervish days
Exhausting in so many ways,
I can return to my little study
And once more be a fuddy-duddy,
Blogging gaily in isolation,
Delighting in my situation.
Then I'll attack new memes with verve
Give them the attention they deserve.
Parties and holidays behind me,
I'll make sure the Linky Man can find me!

COLOR CARNIVAL
http://colorcarnivalmeme.blogspot.com/

This is my South African friend
Who thought she'd follow the Pollock trend.
*
RUBY TUESDAY
http://workofthepoet.blogspot.com/
Red-smocked Michelle on a painting spree
And son Greg grimacing with glee!
*
WEEKEND REFLECTION
http://newtowndailyphoto.blogspot.com/
Just a shop window in the town.
A car, a street and a modeled gown.
*
MY WORLD
http://showyourworld.blogspot.com/
SCENIC SUNDAY
http://scenicsunday.blogspot.com/

A bridge in Sydney. Can't recall the name,
Which, since it's attractive, is a shame!
*

MELLOW YELLOW
http://mellowyellowmonday.blogspot.com/
I've been to Finland. No time was spent
In such a glorious yellow tent!
*
SUNDAY IN MY CITY

Weekend barbecues are commonplace.
A gazebo adds a touch of grace.
*
BLUE MONDAY
http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/
A blue, blue plane and a blue, blue sky.
The lions just happened to be passing by.
*

MAXINE ON SATURDAY
http://workofthepoet.blogspot.com/

Another chance to smell the flowers!
Maxine has telepathic powers!
*
SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY
http://heyharriet.blogspot.com/

Photographed at the bowling-green.
The palm-tree shadow looks serene.
*
TRIVIA
A cement sofa! Please do sit!
But if you want trivia this is it!
*
MOTION

Swing low, sweet chariot, then swing high.
Max is learning how to fly!
*
SKYWATCH
http://skyley.blogspot.com/
Clouds above Uluru, Ayres Rock,
Where all the tourists like to flock.
*
And so ends my great deception.
I can only guess at its reception.
Next week I'll return to normal,
To Blog in a fashion much more formal!

  1. The bowling green looks in pristine shape, like a canvas, just right for the shape and shadow of what looks like what might be an exotic kind of tree!

  2. Brenda -- you couldn't be a fuddy-duddy if you tried ;>). I've actually enjoyed your mega-meme posts -- they took some work and planning. And the pictures and poems were great as always whether mega- or individual!!

  16. when I was growing up in Borneo, I was taught igloos are made of blocks of ice. you have taught me that technology has improved, and igloos don't have to be made of ice.

You are a great poet, and I struggle with teaching my kids to write poetry as I myself is no good in it.

  17. Have to agree with a lot of the others - top marks for this series. Each picture filled the bill.
That lovely comfy looking blue sofa looked good - was the view worthy of Skywatch Friday or maybe My World?
