SKYWATCH
http://skyley.blogspot.com/2009/06/skywatch-friday-no-47.html
I think this 'cloud' owes a lot to an aeroplane that must have recently passed-by. But I was attracted by its juxtaposition to the jagged-looking tree.

DAGGER!
Any old cloud can be fluffy!
Any old cloud can be plump.
But I want to be a dagger
And aim for that old tree stump!
Any old cloud can billow
And just sort of hang around!
But I want to be a dagger
And aim myself at the ground.

Very interesting formation!
ReplyDeleteI tried to write you a comment in rhyme
ReplyDeletebut found myself running out of time
your cloud is but a puff of smoke
from the cmpfire of a thirsty bloke
whose billy was tardy, he wasn't to proud
to blow on theembers and blew up a cloud.
Nice looking clouds here, love the blue sky color!!!
ReplyDeleteNice Shot.
Have a nice Skywatch Friday
Interesting. I think it looks like a lightning bolt
ReplyDeleteWeird-looking, indeed - I thought at first it was some peculiar lightning-effect. But at least you give us an explanation why this cloud isn't like the others :)
ReplyDeleteYes, the apple tree...I do feel guilty whenever I look at it, on top of being sad.
That is a very interesting cloud. Nice framing with the trees.
ReplyDeleteGood one!
ReplyDeleteI'm all for originality, and I AGREE with this cloud! :)
