Shadows plus reflections for SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY

LIGHT AND SHADE
Shadow showing and reflection
Almost in the same direction.
Here, my back is to the glass
And the little tugs that pass.
Yet we see a shadow spread
From a roof-truss overhead.
Different angles, different lines,
And a sun that hides but shines.
Shimmer up and shadow down
All on a day in Sydney Town.

Nice to see you Brenda!
ReplyDeleteThat's a different shot of Sydney and very nice. The poem goes well with it.
Great poem as always. You have a super way with words and the shadows are very interesting, subtle! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
ReplyDeleteA happy shadow! It almost looks like one of those sashes that winners get!
ReplyDeleteYes it does look like a winners sash! Great poem (and I am enjoying the music!)
ReplyDeleteGreat poem to go with your photo! I love the similarities between shadows and reflections. YOu look as if you were having a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteNice picture and poem.
ReplyDeleteThe happiness in face is because of the excitement in meeting "Guys and Dolls?"
